Terms of use

UnboxingTN is a catalogue of the consumer tech sold in Tunisia: phones, laptops, tablets, watches, headphones and consoles, with their specifications, their release dates and their pictures. The catalogue is free to read, on the website and in the apps, with no account.

By using UnboxingTN you agree to what follows.

Your account

The only way to create an account is Sign in with Google. There is no password and no e-mail sign-up: your identity comes from your Google account, and Google is what authenticates it. You must be entitled to use the Google account you sign in with.

An account is what lets you post reviews and comments, and what holds your points. You can delete it at any time from the Account screen; deletion is immediate and permanent, and the Your rights page says exactly what it erases.

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, in particular the rules below.

What you post

The reviews and comments you write stay yours. By posting them you grant us the right — free of charge, non-exclusive, valid anywhere and for as long as they are published — to display, translate and reproduce them within UnboxingTN, on the website and in the apps. You withdraw that right by deleting your content or your account.

You remain responsible for what you post. The following are not allowed:

• hate speech, insults, harassment and threats;
• illegal or defamatory content, or content that infringes someone's copyright;
• other people's personal data, including a phone number;
• advertising, spam, affiliate links, and reviews written for payment;
• fake reviews, multiple accounts, and any manipulation of ratings, points or the leaderboard.

We may remove content that breaks these rules, without notice.

Points, levels and games

Points, levels, badges and leaderboards are promotional. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and cannot be converted into money. The rules that award them may change, and a balance may be corrected or reset where it was gained by abuse.

A giveaway run with a partner has its own rules, published with it: who may enter, the period, how the winner is drawn and what they receive. Nothing here obliges UnboxingTN to run a giveaway, or to run another one.

The catalogue's information

Specifications come from public sources and from makers' press releases. We check them, but they may be incomplete or wrong: an empty field means no source stated it, never zero. UnboxingTN sells nothing, shows no prices and is tied to no shop; check with the seller before you buy.

Trademarks, product names and pictures belong to their respective owners.

The service

UnboxingTN is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it available and accurate without guaranteeing either, and we may change or withdraw a feature. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the catalogue.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page is when they last did; a change that matters is announced in the app.
