Google rolls out September 2026 update to Pixel Watch 2, 3 and 4
The Feature Drop brings Gemini Personalization to every Pixel Watch from the second generation, plus new double-pinch gestures on newer models.
Google is rolling out its September 2026 Feature Drop, a Wear OS update, to the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 4. The build is CP3A.260905.002 for the Pixel Watch 3 and 4, and CP3A.260905.002.E1 for the Pixel Watch 2.
Every watch from the Pixel Watch 2 onward gains Gemini Personalization, which draws on past conversations and connected Google apps — Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube and Photos — to tailor answers. Google describes it as an offline user profile working with real-time online retrieval, and gives examples such as asking what is on the calendar today or finding a tracking number in email.
On the Pixel Watch 3 and newer, a double pinch opens At a Glance or the notification center from the watch face, scrolls through Gemini responses, Wallet cards and workout metrics, toggles between Google Maps views and manages the Recorder app. Turning the wrist works as universal back navigation.
The Pixel Watch 4 and newer get improved raise-to-talk performance from an updated gesture model. The changelog also lists general bug fixes and improvements.
