MSI readies a second version of its Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld
A “CG3M” model appears in MSI’s listings, with a standard Intel Arc G3 chip and an 8-inch 120 Hz screen.

MSI is adding another version of its Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld. The manufacturer now lists a new “CG3M” model alongside the “CG3EM” and “CG3EM Launch Pack” already in the range, confirming that a second configuration is on the way.
This variant would keep the standard Intel Arc G3 chip instead of the entry-level Arc G3 that Intel is preparing. Its graphics would be an Arc B370 with 10 Xe3 cores, paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512 GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
The screen stays the same as on the higher-end CG3EM: an 8-inch Full HD+ panel at 1920 by 1200 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The current Claw 8 EX AI+ comes in a single configuration built on Arc G3 Extreme with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
Intel’s third Arc G3 version would target a lighter setup with 8 CPU cores and 4 Xe3 GPU cores. MSI would be among the first makers to adopt it.
