Apple roadmap points to OLED MacBook Pro, iPad mini and iPhone 18
Seven more Apple products are expected before the end of 2026, including MacBook Pro models with OLED screens and touch input, and an iPad mini on OLED.
Seven more Apple products are expected before the end of 2026, part of a group of 16 that the journalist Mark Gurman places on the calendar through spring 2027.
The MacBook Pro would drop its mini-LED panel for OLED and gain a touch-sensitive surface, with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The 14-inch entry model would use an M6 chip, the same one planned for a new iMac. The next iPad mini would also move to OLED.
In spring 2027, the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e would arrive with the A20 chip, alongside an iPhone Air 2 carrying an ultra-wide-angle sensor and longer battery life. The MacBook Air would run on M6, while a MacBook Neo would take an A19 Pro chip and 12 GB of RAM.
The entry-level iPad would gain Siri AI, the iPad Air would adopt OLED and the iPad Pro a vapour chamber. Two new versions of the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C would follow, both compatible with the iPhone Duo.
