Xiaomi teases Xiaomi 18 Pro series ahead of China launch this month
Xiaomi confirms the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will arrive in China later this month and shows the lineup’s rear display.
Xiaomi has begun teasing the Xiaomi 18 Pro series, confirming in a video posted on Weibo that the phones will launch in China later this month.
The teaser shows the rear panel of the lineup, with a rear display like the one on the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. Xiaomi says that display has been upgraded and is more versatile than before. The short clip also shows a triple rear camera setup: two sensors sit inside a large rectangular camera plateau, with the third outside it, as on the Xiaomi 17 Pro series.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max were recently certified in China with support for 100W wired charging. A rumor claims they will be the first phones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Xiaomi says more details will follow tomorrow.
