Boox has unveiled three new E Ink devices, all running Android 16 with the Google Play Store pre-installed. The most notable is the Boox Palma 3, a new version of its palm-sized reader.

The Palma 3 moves from plastic to an anodized aluminum frame with a paperlike fiberglass backplate. Its 6.13-inch E Ink Carta screen keeps a 300ppi resolution and adds a dual-tone front light. Inside are a Qualcomm Q-6690 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB. There is a 3,950mAh battery, a 16-megapixel rear camera with flash for scanning documents, dual microphones for voice memos and speech-to-text, and a fingerprint reader in the power button. It supports the Boox InkSense Plus stylus, sold separately, for annotating books and notes, and comes in black or white.

Boox also showed the Note Air6 C, a 10.3-inch color E Ink device with a Dual Notes feature for annotating two documents side by side, support for the Boox Pen3 stylus and a keyboard cover that attaches through pogo pins. The Note Mini C has an 8.52-inch color E Ink screen, a fingerprint-enabled power button and a stylus, and can run apps such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Slack and OneDrive.

The Palma 3 is listed on Boox’s website but is not yet on sale, and the Note Mini C is listed as available soon. The Note Air6 C is available now.
