Xiaomi has begun rolling out the first beta build of HyperOS 4 to testers enrolled in its beta program, after opening recruitment for its global devices last week. The build is limited for now to three phones: the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the Xiaomi 17 and the Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi.

Owners of those three models who are in the program can check for the update manually from Settings > About phone, by tapping the version number, in case the notification has not reached them yet.

On September 17, the beta opens to four more devices: the Xiaomi 17T, the Xiaomi 17T Pro, the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Xiaomi announced HyperOS 4 in mid-August, with a glass-style look for the interface, and then opened beta recruitment for its global devices last week.
