Fujifilm announces the Instax Pal 2, a tiny camera without a printer
The second generation of Fujifilm’s tiny Instax Pal adds a screen, a viewfinder, more effects and a 10-megapixel sensor, while staying without a built-in printer.
Fujifilm is renewing its Instax Pal. The company has introduced a second generation of the tiny camera, called the Instax Pal 2, keeping the approach of the original model while adding equipment.
Like its predecessor, the device has no built-in printer: it does not produce prints by itself, unlike other models in the Instax range. Its very small size is unchanged.
The main changes concern what the camera carries. The Instax Pal 2 adds a screen and a viewfinder, neither of which the first version had. Fujifilm also lists more effects and a 10-megapixel sensor.
Those additions make the new model better equipped than the one it replaces, without changing its role: a pocket-sized device that does not print its own pictures.
