Gmail’s Gemini inbox replies expand beyond the United States
After a limited debut in the United States, the feature reaches Gmail users worldwide and stays tied to a paid subscription.

Gemini-powered replies in Gmail are no longer confined to the United States. After a limited debut on that market, the feature is now reaching Gmail users around the world.
It works inside the inbox, where Gemini generates replies that a user can put into a message. What was reserved for users in the United States now extends to Gmail users elsewhere, including those who could not use it before.
Access remains tied to a paid subscription. Not every Gmail account is covered: the replies sit behind the paid plan that includes Gemini, so only those subscribers can use them in their inbox.
For users outside the United States, the change is one of availability, with the feature arriving in their Gmail within the limits of the subscription it requires.
