Honor 700 Pro rumored to carry a rear screen
A leak points to a 1.72-inch display on the back of a phone in Honor’s 700 series, an idea Xiaomi pushed last year.
Honor is working on at least one phone with a screen on its back, according to a rumor posted by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The device belongs to the Honor 700 series and is most likely the Honor 700 Pro.
The rumored front display is a 6.57-inch flat panel with 1.5K resolution and symmetrical ultra-narrow bezels. The main camera is put at 200 megapixels, a figure that had already been rumored for the phone, and the rear screen measures 1.72 inches.
Xiaomi’s 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max popularized the rear screen idea last year, and Xiaomi is preparing to launch their successors later this month. Honor’s device would bring a second display to the back of a phone in its 700 line.
The two panels differ sharply in size, with the main screen at 6.57 inches and the rear one at 1.72 inches.
